2017-09-22 - Last year Dutch fashion label Humanoid asked us again to make the wraps for their Autumn/Winter 2017 collection. The signature wrap has been a staple from the start of this label that values high quality and the use of luxury natural fibres.

Humanoid’s identity can be summarised as expressive, creative, authentic, but always functional and contemporary. Qualities that can be found in each and every collection since the start of the brand in 1981.

So it makes much sense that Humanoid chose the work of the artisans from Sana Hastakala, a Fairtrade organisation in Nepal.

Willy Pistache, Blackish, Grape and Pebble are made by hand.

The weavers were able to translate the label's designs into a beautiful collection of different stoles. Each piece has been created by hand from the softest yak wool, combined with cotton.

Both the artisans and the local sellers of the yak wool and cotton received a fair price for their product.
